Christophe Dechavanne has been convicted of "driving under the influence of drugs with a prior offense." The court in Moulins was lenient, sentencing him to a 1,200 euro fine, losing his license for six months, and a 9,000 euro penalty. His lawyer argued that he wasn't a drug user but might have been exposed passively. Dechavanne is appealing, claiming innocence and that rumors about regular cocaine use were unfounded.
